Festival Sierra Nevada por Todo lo Alto

The highest-altitude music festival in Europe, “Sierra Nevada por Todo lo Alto”, has unveiled its lineup for 2024. Featured bands include Mujeres, Hinds, Alberta Cross, Jordana B, Los Berrinches, and Red Soul Community. This free event will take place on August 23rd and 24th at Plaza de Andalucía in Pradollano, Sierra Nevada. Three bands will perform each night, and there will be morning activities for children. The festival offers a unique blend of rock music, mountain environment, and family-friendly events, making it one of the most distinctive events in the music calendar.

The top billing acts include female rock band Hinds, known for their unique pop-rock sound, and Barcelona based band Mujeres, renowned for their high energy stage performance.

In addition to national bands, the festival will feature Alberta Cross, a Swedish-British band known for their melodic anthems with American influences. The indie pop band from Madrid, Jordana B, will also be playing a set.

The festival lineup also includes local band Red Soul Community, and “all-star” band Berrinches, whose members include Banin Fraile (keyboardist and guitarist for Los Planetas and Los Pilotos), Juan Codorniu (renowned guitarist from Lagartija Nick), Monago Tornado (vocalist from the 90s band Pink Flamingos), Ángel Doblas (member of TNT, a pioneering Spanish punk group, and bass player on several albums by the legendary band 091), and Antonio Pelomono (percussionist of the duo Pelomono, also involved in bands like El Osombroso y Sonriente Folk de las Badlands and Los Primos).

Continuing its tradition of being a family-friendly event in the heart of nature, the festival will also include music workshops for children, organized by the Gabba Hey Music School.
