Mujer en cinta de correr sobre fondo negro es una radiografía en forma de pieza escénica del ciudadano de barrio humilde. La mujer reflexiona sobre la superproducción textil, el capitalismo, el entretenimiento, la cultura, los idiomas, los motes y el sector servicios. Es risa y pensamiento.

La boca hace coreografías y las repite siempre. Plá-ta-no. La lengua se pega a los dientes y sale disparada (piensa en tu boca diciendo no). Pero no solo es la boca lo que baila en esta pieza, el cuerpo realiza un ejercicio de resistencia durante 57 minutos. Una cinta de correr, un diafragma y

un recorrido hacen de nuestro deambular cotidiano un acontecimiento.

La mujer dialoga con los distintos elementos que el espacio le aporta: una cuerda de 9 metros, una pelota gigante, la cinta de correr, un dance-air con el que lidia una batalla a vida o muerte. La descripción textual se abraza al detalle corporal. Una actriz que se mueve como toro en su redil, como niño en un parque de bolas, como una pelea de guerrilleros en la selva tropical. En definitiva, un mano a mano entre palabra y movimiento llevado al humor y el pensamiento.

A Alessandra García, en diez años, le ha dado tiempo a montar y desmontar una compañía, entrar en el mundo de la performance y convertirse en docente. Su línea de trabajo corresponde al teatro postdramático y participativo. Está más cerca del arte contemporáneo que del teatro.
