CELSO GIMÉNEZ, INTEGRANTE DE LA COMPAÑÍA TEATRAL LA TRISTURA, DEBUTA EN SOLITARIO CON UNA CREACIÓN ESCÉNICA QUE INDAGA SOBRE LA ESTELA DE LA GUERRA CIVIL ENTRE LOS NIETOS DE QUIENES LA VIVIERON.

¿CÓMO SON LAS NIETAS, LAS NIÑAS ZOMBI, QUE NO LLEGARON SIQUIERA A SABER BIEN QUÉ SUCEDIÓ Y, SIN EMBARGO, ESTÁN TRANSFORMADAS EDUCACIONAL, CULTURAL Y SENTIMENTALMENTE POR HISTORIAS QUE, AL MISMO TIEMPO, PARECEN PELÍCULAS LEJANAS DE ZOMBIES Y VAMPIROS?

Las niñas zombi llegan no solo de la mano de Celso Giménez, ahí están, también, el mago de La Veronal, Marcos Morau, y la furia de Belén Martí (Mucha Muchacha), quienes como un rayo van rompiendo costuras escénicas.

¿Hubiera sido diferente la vida de Celso Giménez si hubiera escuchado otras historias cuando era un niño y hubiera descendido de un linaje diferente? El dramaturgo y escritor se lo pregunta en una historia que tiene mucho que ver con su familia. Ahora, el autor explora el peso de la herencia.

Sobre el escenario, tres mujeres jóvenes que ríen, bailan y tienen una historia que contar. ¿Es una historia fantástica que parece real o quizás sea una historia tan real que parece fantástica? Se trata de un relato sobre la guerra y sobre un hombre, el abuelo de estas niñas zombi, que una noche en un bosque vivió un incidente que cambió su vida. ¿Quién murió realmente en aquel bosque? ¿Quién puede saberlo después de tantos años? ¿Si consiguen descifrar esta historia, este enigma de los tiempos, comprenderán algo también sobre sí mismas?

Se dice que la primera generación que sufre un trauma, no habla de lo que le ocurrió, necesita encapsularlo. La segunda, tampoco, pues ha vivido el “shock” de sus padres demasiado de cerca. Es la tercera la que puede adentrarse en la memoria de sus mayores.

Me llamo Celso porque mi abuelo se llamaba así. “Es un nombre con suerte”, me decían. Y, hasta hace bien poco, no entendía por qué. En ‘Las Niñas Zombi’ lo contamos, con cariño y con belleza, porque creo que (de una manera u otra) es la historia de toda nuestra generación.
