ANABEL ALONSO
Direction: Heidi Steinhardt
“Her finest register. Life’s paradoxes. The actress reaches her most sublime moments through tragedy, through the rawness of emotion. Through pain. She does it in a stark, skilful way.”

“Alonso delivers a memorable performance. She displays a vibrant command of language, carefully modulated emotional projection and, above all, an exceptional ability to forge an intimate connection with each audience member.”
— En Platea
“The result is a profound and honest piece of work, in which Alonso fills the stage space, building an emotional whirlwind that captures the audience and turns them into involuntary confidants.”
— Sin CriticART
New Year’s Eve. Murielle is at home, alone. The noise from the street and the shouts of her celebrating neighbours keep her from falling asleep. In that sleepless vigil, memories collide with a bleak present and an even less promising future. What she has lost, what has been taken from her, failure and loneliness, have knocked her out of the game, leaving her adrift in a limbo where she still wavers between survival and death. Her true tragedy—also a comedy—has shattered her self-esteem as a woman, as a wife, as a mother and as a daughter.
