EN 2017 COMIENZA SU PROPIA TRAYCTORIA COMO CREADORA CON PIEZAS COMO CATALINA MÍA O BAILES DE HISTÉRICAS. 

CON INVOCATION OBTUVO EL PREMIO AL MEJOR ESPECTÁCULO PARA ESPACIO NO CONVENCIONAL 2023 DE LA ASOCIACIÓN DE PROFESIONALES ANDALUCES DE LA DANZA.

Invocation es una investigación performativa cuyo eje de estudio son los cuerpos de la danza posmoderna: Steve Patxon, Yvonne Rainer y Trisha Brown, y toda la constelación histórica que suponen sus figuras. Se trata de bailarinas y creadoras de referencia que desplazaron las fronteras en la danza, transformaron su paradigma, aportando una nueva mirada que abrió las compuertas para la danza del presente y la que está por venir.

A través de ellas, Invocation propone, desde el flamenco, un recorrido basado en una exploración física y mística, a modo de una danza de la invocación, que desemboca en el cuerpo presente intuitivo y espontáneo, en el que las fronteras entre danza posmoderna y flamenco quedan difuminadas. ¿Cuál es el cuerpo del presente? ¿Cuáles son vínculos con el mundo? ¿Puede encontrar una relación con el flamenco?

Un dispositivo escénico a modo de experiencia, en el que a través del espacio sonoro, ofrece un paisaje poético en el que confluye la danza posmoderna y el flamenco, y que abre el misterio de un ritual, con nuevos vínculos y relaciones para una danza del futuro.

“La naturaleza efímera de la danza viene determinada por su carácter amoroso: no hay nada que retener, no hay nada que se pueda guardar. Al igual que sucede con el amor, la danza solo se puede detectar por las marcas que deja en los cuerpos a su paso. En tanto acto amoroso, la danza del futuro sucede como una liberación de potencia gaudendi, de poder de goce que pone en cuestión los límites establecidos de los cuerpos desvelando posibilidades desconocidas de ser y estar. La danza del futuro produce encarnaciones insólitas que redefinen constante y radicalmente la acción amorosa. En este sentido, aunque la danza del futuro sabe que nada acaba nunca del todo, a menudo, el rastro que deja en los cuerpos con los que se compromete es parecido a la sensación de un final feliz.”
