Pelat es una propuesta que borra las fronteras entre la danza, el circo, el teatro y la performance; entre público y espectáculo. Una revisión natural de técnicas artesanales y recuerdos propios. Una muestra cambiante y única como resultado de la interacción con el espectador.

Pelat traza un plan previo, y de manera particular recupera las miradas de los trabajos hechos a mano y sin medios tecnológicos. Un diálogo entre el hombre y el objeto que a partir de un gesto deja espacio al imaginario para compartir experiencias y responsabilidades, en un ritual efímero.

Un espectáculo para un público activo

Uno de los objetivos del espectáculo es comunicar desde el cuerpo y el movimiento. Cinco personas se unen al intérprete para formar parte del espectáculo y participar en su creación. Cinco desconocidos que persiguiendo un objetivo efímero, se encontrarán con una pequeña parte de ellos mismos gracias a este encuentro alrededor de un trabajo común.

A través de este encuentro efímero, el espectáculo explora las vías propicias para compartir, escuchar y participar. Pelat busca nuevas formas de hacer, de crear y de cooperar. Solamente es necesario estar abierto, activo, receptivo al cambio, y romper con las costumbres del poder para aprovechar la libertad de escoger. El encuentro, provocado por el hecho de trabajar juntos, sirve de cimiento para la creación de esta propuesta en escena participativa y activa.

En el pasado, muchas profesiones eran colectivas. Aún hoy lo son, pero de otra forma. Son colectivas en apariencia, pero muy solitarias e individuales en esencia. Los trabajos rurales, donde el esfuerzo físico es fundamental, son un perfecto ejemplo. La mayoría de los trabajos de campo requieren una buena coordinación para poder conseguir los objetivos y aunque sea sorprendente, la comunicación a menudo es visual.
