SR. CHINARRO

ANTONIO LUQUE/SR. CHINARRO SE REENCUENTRA CON LA AFICIÓN DE GRANADA EN NUESTRO TEATRO PARA PRESENTAR SU ÚLTIMO TRABAJO CAL VIVA.

LUQUE ES DUEÑO DE UNA CARRERA INCONTESTABLE AVALADA POR 18 DISCOS QUE LE HAN RESERVADO UN LUGAR DE HONOR EN LA HISTORIA DEL POP ESPAÑOL COMO UNO DE SUS LETRISTAS MÁS INFLUYENTES.

Su prosa, plagada de costumbrismo y de folklore, se ha publicado en libros, como la novela «Exitus» (2012), en periódicos, revistas y blogs, y ha tenido parte de culpa de la reivindicación del castellano en los grupos de la escena independiente.

Sr. Chinarro es mordaz, rotundo y crítico, y por ello se le señala, entre otros, como portavoz de su generación. Desde su primer disco, grabado en EEUU con la producción de Kramer, hasta el último, ha mantenido una constante en cuanto a publicación y calidad.

Su momento de inflexión, en 2005, tuvo lugar con “El fuego amigo”, premiado por diferentes publicaciones como el mejor del año, reconocimiento que fue repetido y aumentado con el siguiente, “El mundo según” (2006). El cenit de su creatividad continuó con “Ronroneando” (2008) y “Presidente” (2011), dos de sus obras más reivindicadas, y ha seguido editando con regularidad y sin descanso.

Luque/Chinarro siempre ha dado mucho que leer, escuchar y, sobre todo, pensar, pero superada la cincuentena se ha vuelto más explícito y afilado. Ello coincide con su mudanza de Barcelona a Málaga, un tránsito que aprovecha para renovar su alineación de allegados y colaboradores e introducir cuerdas y vientos en un cancionero que se vuelve musicalmente riquísimo, más aún con esos inesperados giros melódicos y armónicos en los que se nota el respaldo de intérpretes más familiarizados con las estructuras del jazz. Todo contribuye así a arropar la voz queda pero hipnótica de Antonio, que sugiere tristeza pero también calidez y anhelo, y que adelanta por la derecha a Nacho Vegas en su pretensión de erigirse en nuestro Kurt Wagner (Lambchop) peninsular.
